Our Showroom Cities
It began not with a place, but with a vision. In 1988, as a young English designer, Christopher Guy Harrison wasn't simply creating furniture-he was searching for something timeless. A dream of elegance that would transcend trends and outlast fashion, rooted in refinement and grace. That pursuit took him across the world.
In the tropical forests of Central Java, Indonesia, he discovered two rare treasures-Indonesian mahogany and a profound tradition of craftsmanship. Indonesian mahogany is a noble wood, long revered for its beauty, strength, and character-celebrated by the world's most iconic names. It remains the primary material in our furniture-making, offering not only exceptional quality but also a compelling reason why our craftsmanship is proudly based in Indonesia. Equally remarkable is the lineage of craftsmanship passed down through generations. This artistry, honed over decades, carries a soul no machine could replicate.
With these two treasures, Christopher's vision took shape-leading to the creation of CG Atelier, a sanctuary where material and mastery converge. Here, artisanal skill meets bold design in a space devoted to excellence and legacy. At Christopher Guy, every piece is more than furniture. It is timeless design-rooted in heritage, shaped by hand. We don't just craft furniture. We craft dreams.
